Masias Recycling, S.L. has been awarded for the design, supply and erection of the mechanical pretreatment lines of the rest fraction and refinement of  the remainder organic fraction of the Waste Treatment Centre of Vallès Occidental region in the Treatment Centre that is being built by the Temporary Union of Enterprises C.T.R. Vallès formed by Hera Amasa, S.A., Fomento de Construcciones y Contractas, S.A. and Urbaser, S.A. The centre, which is to be delivered in December 2009, will be located in Vacarisses, Barcelona, and will have a capacity of 300,000 t/y.
