Last Friday July 17 Masias Recycling SL and Caldereria Rovira celebrated the opening of the new manufacturing facilities, which have 14,500m2 and are located in the industrial area of Celrà, Girona. The building works for this new factory started on January 2008 and were completed last month. Some 300 people attended the opening ceremony, among which the Councillor for Territorial Policy and Public Works, Mr Joaquim Nadal, the President of the Chamber of Commerce in Girona, Mr Domènec Espadalé, the Mayor of Girona, Mrs Anna Pagans, the Mayor of Celrà, Mr Francesc Camps, and the Mayor of Sant Joan Les Fonts, Mr Joan Espona.
This new factory involved an investment of 9 Million Euros and will enable the company to manufacture and handle big equipment for the waste treatment. At the same time, this also represents an increase in the production capacity, both for the national and international market, as well as an improvement in the production process and the quality of the equipment.
